This coming performance grew out of the campaign to stop Clive Palmer’s mining company from destroying the Bimblebox Nature Refuge in Queensland.

Julia Wakefield got a group of  about 20 Adelaide poets together earlier this year at Radio Adelaide to record poems about birds. (I was surprised how many I’d written!) I remember taping between Valerie Volk and David Adés…

These recordings will all be broadcast on Julia’s radio programmes in the near future. Meanwhile if you’re in Adelaide you can hear Belinda, Louise, Julia and me reading our own work (and the work of others) at the State Library this Wednesday. It’s free and so are refreshments.
