There is so much creativity in this small city! I was invited to co-judge entries last night at the Wheatsheaf Hotel for the Festival of Original Music competition. The standard was unbelievably high. Co-judge Adrienne Lovelock and I had a hard time giving detailed written feedback and selecting just four winners out of twelve to advance to the finals. Thanks to SCALA for the invitation – it was an honour.

shortlisted for TGJL!

The Award is announced at a ceremony in Joondalup, WA on Sept 10. I probably won’t win – but still chuffed about making the national shortlist!
