I can’t show you a cover yet, but I’m very proud to be a part of “Shaping The Fractured Self”, a poetry anthology edited by Heather Taylor Johnson and to be published by University of Western Australia Press in May. Other poet-aquaintances involved include Andy Jackson, Rachael Mead, gareth roi jones, Steve Evans, Stuart Barnes, Ian Gibbins, Peter Goldsworthy and Leah Kaminsky.
The Sydney Morning Herald has listed the collection as “one to watch“!
“Cigarette” began in Himeji in 2008 as a short story but it took another six years for it to be published. This is the audio version which I mixed with Doxent’s heart-rending piano in 2016. (Thanks again Kuba!)
It was first published in Transnational Literature (Flinders University) in 2014.
