From my blurb on the back cover: \u201cThis is distilled cartography of a woman\u2019s life. From a child\u2019s-eye view of drought and hardship in the outback to the pains and love of motherhood, Broughton turns her lens of brevity and poignancy on a rich life.\u201d Beautiful poetry.<\/p>\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup> No Wave poetry featuring Michael Aitken, Dom Symes, Cary Hamlyn and Matthew Morison at the Wheatie.<\/p>\n<p>7<sup>th<\/sup>: To celebrate its 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary and twenty years at Port Adelaide, Ginninderra Press had a weekend of celebrations. I was part of a panel discussion \u2018What good does poetry do?\u2019 at Tea Tree Gully Library.<\/p>\n<p>8<sup>th<\/sup>. Launch of Ginninderra\u2019s Wild Anthology at East Ave Books, Clarence Park. I performed my poem <em>treecreeper<\/em> from the book.<\/p>\n<p>10<sup>th<\/sup> Launch of <em>gods for a new world<\/em>, my Ginninderra Press Pocket Poets chapbook at Halifax Caf\u00e9. Thanks to my launcher Mike Hopkins!<\/p>\n<p>24<sup>th<\/sup>.
