The poem.<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a>I wrote process poetry 2<\/strong> while I was a resident artist at Adelaide City Library. The theme of the 4 week residency was \u2018Lost & Found\u2019 so I began by composing a found poem exploring the idea of lost and found and defining what a poem is. I often begin a poem by writing notes or a stream-of-consciousness, then remove unnecessary words. It occurred to me that the logical conclusion – and the perfect poem – might be the blank page you started with.
\nI guess it\u2019s also a bit of a dig at the whole fad of \u2018found poetry.\u2019 There\u2019s an awful lot of pretty bad poetry which consists of the random assemblage of lists and lines stolen from text books, newspapers and other people\u2019s poems.<\/p>\n

words and phrases piled
\nlike lost property<\/p>\n

POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy)
\nis an endoscopic procedure used
\nto treat swallowing disorders.<\/p>\n

writing poetry is no easy task.<\/p>\n

Eran Hadas built a tool
\nthat can read your brainwaves
\nand generate poetry
\nthat reflects your thoughts.*<\/p>\n

Remove unnecessary words
\nuntil you are left
\nwith a blank page.<\/p>\n

Marvel at its whiteness.<\/p>\n
