It was the Inaugural Australian Poetry Show with <a href=\"http:\/\/magdalenaball.com\/wordpress\/?page_id=2\">Maggie Ball<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/passionateworldradionetwork.com\/\">Passionate Internet Voices Talk Radio<\/a> with Lillian Cauldwell out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>Before most of us had even heard of Skype, Maggie teed up this 3-way VOIP conversation between Adelaide, Newcastle and Ann Arbor, Michigan. I seem to remember that Maggie\u2019s computer wouldn\u2019t cooperate and at the last minute she had to phone in on a landline. But it all worked and my interview \u2013 mostly talking about my just-released first full collection <em>micromacro<\/em> which Maggie had recently reviewed for her website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.compulsivereader.com\/\"><em>The<\/em> <em>Compulsive Reader <\/em><\/a>\u2013 went relatively smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>I found the mp3 of the show on some old files last week and uploaded it to Soundcloud.<\/p>\n<p>Since that interview Maggie and I have collaborated on a few different poems. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/bedlampublishing\/reintarnation\">Reintarnation<\/a><\/em> appeared in <a href=\"http:\/\/bedlampublishing.com\/LoudZoo_08.pdf\">Loud Zoo<\/a>. <em>Radiology<\/em> appeared in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.garronpublishing.com\/chapbooks\">Policies &amp; Procedures<\/a>, Medical Journal of Australia and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsouthbooks.com.au\/books\/best-australian-science-writing-2016\/\">Best Australian Science Writing, 2016<\/a>. There are also a couple more which haven\u2019t been published yet. All of this despite the fact that we\u2019ve never met face-to-face! It\u2019s all been collaboration by email and mp3. Maggie lives out of Newcastle, NSW.
