{"id":1652,"date":"2012-09-19T00:13:13","date_gmt":"2012-09-18T13:13:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.robwalkerpoet.com\/?p=1652"},"modified":"2012-09-19T00:13:13","modified_gmt":"2012-09-18T13:13:13","slug":"not-crying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robwalkerpoet.com\/?p=1652","title":{"rendered":"not crying&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.robwalkerpoet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/BAP2012.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"BAP2012\" src=\"http:\/\/www.robwalkerpoet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/BAP2012.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>I\u2019m very proud that my poem <em>crying at the poetry reading<\/em> has been selected by John Tranter for Best Australian Poems 2012 (Black Inc) which is soon to be published by Penguin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It originally appeared in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redriverreview.net\/A55656\/RRR.nsf\/NOVEMBER11\/1F7F2847BB3D091E8525793C006BDDC4?opendocument\">Red River Review<\/a> almost a year ago and was subsequently nominated for a US <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pushcart_Prize\">Pushcart Prize<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More recently (last week) it\u2019s been nominated for publication in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sundresspublications.com\/bestof\/\">Best of The Net<\/a>.
