Sitting Back – Swimmers – Find Yourself\u2026<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0KungFuFrijters<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Back in 08 I was watching a synchronised swimming event in the Beijing Olympics on TV. This led to an arc of thought involving uniformity and the military state. Kung Fu has added his own text to transform this and give it a much more optimistic ending.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Synchronised swimming<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The thrill of colour and thigh<\/p>\n moving as one organism<\/p>\n the flock veering<\/p>\n semaphores black\/ white<\/p>\n every move\u2019s a calculated<\/p>\n mean<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n a darker subjugation<\/p>\n individuals are vanishing<\/p>\n points on the horizon<\/p>\n the technical merit of<\/p>\n Gestapo jackboots<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our hunger for icons<\/p>\n fire \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 water<\/p>\n the power of uniformity<\/p>\n We\u2019ve seen synchronised humanity<\/p>\n In Goerring\u2019s choreography<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Free thought is rooted<\/p>\n out in training<\/p>\n The aberrant sent to re-education camp<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n or stood against the<\/p>\n swimming pool wall and<\/p>\n shot<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a9 rob walker.<\/p>\n from micromacro<\/em>, Seaview Press, 2006 and phobiaphobia<\/em>, Picaro Press, 2007.
