Four W is one of Australia\u2019s oldest and most respected annual collections of poetry and prose \u2013 last year it was launched by Les Murray &#8211;\u00a0and even more impressively it\u2019s in an Australian regional centre which is NOT a capital or major Australian city.<\/p>\n<p>When I couldn\u2019t attend the launch of the 2005 edition which included my poem <em>Redback Spider (male)<\/em> I sent my daughter Amy to represent me since she was studying medical imaging on campus!<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m pleased to be part of this great institution again in 2013 with my poem <em>Retired banker in a \u00a0nursing home<\/em>.
